Our History

Our History

Michael C. Fina was founded in 1935 by Michael and Rose Fina in New York City, and originally specialized in fine silver merchandise. As the business expanded to include jewelry and luxury gifts, so did the personal relationships we developed with our customers. Soon, neighboring businesses began to rely on our retail expertise and the personal service they received to assist them with selecting corporate service awards for their employees.

In 1965, we signed our first service awards contract with IBM, and in 1970, we opened a facility solely dedicated to supporting reward and recognition programs, the Corporate Sales division. Over the next forty five years, we became a leader in the recognition industry, bringing our family traditions of honesty, compassion, and personal service to every partnership.

Today the Fina Family continues that tradition with a simple mission: create memorable experiences that inspire people to do great things. Michael C.
